Requirements

Software on your computer and server, the accounts you open yourself, and the running costs you pay. MIKODES does not host instances, hold keys or provide RPC access.

02Server
- Linux (Debian/Ubuntu) VPS or a platform with a persistent volume (Fly.io, Render). Without a persistent disk the database is lost on every redeploy.
- Exactly one server process per database. The server holds SQLite, the chain watcher and the webhook worker in one process; two copies on the same file would deliver webhooks twice. Horizontal scaling is not supported.
- Outbound HTTPS to your RPC providers and to your merchants' webhook URLs.
- Domains: one for the checkout (for example
pay.example.com), optionally one for the console and merchant portal (admin.example.com) and one for a landing page.

04Running costs you pay
- Server, disk, domains and backups at your provider's prices.
- RPC provider plans.
- Network fees are paid by the payer in their own transaction. Deploying the Base router costs a little Base ETH for gas, paid from a wallet you control.
